Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Health Gauges waitlist website at health.letstruck.com (the "site"), run by Let's Truck ("we," "us"). It explains what we collect when you join the list and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you join the list, you give us:

• Your first name and email address
• Your answers to three questions: your schedule (days, nights, split, or it changes), what you most want to work on (sleep, food, energy, weight, stress, or something else), and your phone type (iPhone or Android)
• Your agreement to get our emails, with the date and time you agreed and the version of the signup form you agreed on

These questions are about your preferences, so we can send what fits. The site does not ask for medical history, medications, or health records. Please don't send them to us by email either.

Collected automatically with your signup:

• Where you came from: campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example, utm_source=facebook), the page you signed up on, and, if a friend shared their link with you, their referral code
• Your referral code: we create a code from your email address so you can share your own link. When someone joins with your link, we record that you referred them.

When you visit the site:

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. The site saves your campaign tags in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so they can be added to your signup. The site does not set its own cookies.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
• The site has no advertising pixels or ad tracking tools (for example, no Facebook/Meta Pixel and no Google Ads tags).
• The site doesn't use visitor analytics today. If we turn on a privacy-friendly analytics tool later (such as Vercel Web Analytics), we'll update this policy first.

How we use it

• To send what you signed up for: the free Cab Health Pre-Trip checklist, a short welcome series, the weekly Check Your Gauges lessons, and Health Gauges news, including when the app opens up
• To fit those emails to your schedule, goals, and phone type
• To see which posts, shows, and links bring people to the list, so we know what's working
• To give referral bonuses (extra printables) to people who share their link
• To keep the signup form working and block spam signups

Everything we send is nutrition and lifestyle education, not medical care.

Who helps us

We use a few service providers. They handle your information for us under their own terms and privacy policies:

• Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores the list and sends our emails. Like most email services, Kit may record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
• Vercel hosts the site and runs the signup form, and keeps the server logs described above.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or if the Let's Truck business is sold or reorganized (in that case your information may transfer to the new owner, who would have to honor this policy or tell you about changes).

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of any email. You'll stop getting list emails right away.
• See, correct, or delete your information: email health@letstruck.com (or support@letstruck.com). Tell us the email address you signed up with. We may need to confirm it's you. If you ask us to delete your information, we may keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we don't contact you again.
• State privacy rights: depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights, such as the right to know what we have about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or opt out of its sale or use for targeted ads. (We don't sell it or use it for targeted ads.) Email us to use any of these rights. We won't treat you differently for using them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're on the list. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that so we honor it. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll remove it from our list, except what we need to keep for legal reasons or to keep from emailing you again. Hosting logs are kept for a limited time under Vercel's standard settings.

Security

We use reputable service providers, encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access limited to the people who run the list. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be exposed.

Children

The site and list are for adults. They're not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.

Where your information is

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may store information in the United States. The site is meant for people in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll tell the list by email.
